Bangkok

So after another long flight with Qantas we arrived in Bangkok at 11pm yesterday. I was a bit concerned that we hadn't organised anywhere to stay, but we got a taxi to the main backpacker area and after finding out that every hostel in the Lonely Planet guidebook was full, we booked into an okay but basic place a random Korean guy showed us. It is called Peachy and has the hardest beds I have ever slept on. So by 2am we were sitting at picnic tables on Soi Rhambutri, eating freshly cooked noodles from a street stall and drinking beer sold to us from a minibus before heading back to sleep it off. This is the life.
